And, then there was land...

Our 17th move is upon us, and our 29th anniversary isn't even here yet!

Michael has always tolerated my love for all of God's creatures and we both love the outdoors. We've been dreaming of our own land for years. With his approaching retirement (10-15 years) he's been looking at ranches thinking it'll keep us active and somewhere he gets the idea I'm going to make money selling eggs and goat cheese... That part is not happening.

He finally found an east Texas ranch that has a small 5 acre stocked fishing pond, improved cross-fenced pastures, 70 acres of wild area for horseback riding, wildlife observation, hog hunting, and whatever else the eventual grandkids can dream up, as well as a great ranch home surrounded by a blank canvas yard for us to work with!

It's our own 150+ acres of pure country with a grocery store not 5 miles down the road in Pittsburg (without the "h"), a town of just over 4,500 people and a hospital ;)

We're very excited about this new adventure! So much to learn, decisions to make, things to do! Did I mention we're both city born and raised? Ha! Yes, we are so this should be a lot of fun! We know practically nothing but are looking forward to every minute of it!!!

Follow along as we venture into the next season of our lives!

    1. We plan to retire here so I hope so! He did. We came out thinking one or both of us would have issues with it but it's just what we wanted. Things moved along so fast I think we're still trying to realize it's ours :) I'll expect you, SiS! <3
